First listen was a little rough for me, but once I listened to the album start to finish, not to mention went through the visual journey, this has to be one of my favorite pop records this year (next to Rainbow). Despite its criticisms, I find the album to be a consistent piece of work. The production is really fun, as much as I want to give Fergie ultimate credit for her vocals, the production truly makes the album. I bought the Target Deluxe Edition yesterday, so hopefully I'm adding to some second week sales. Bought Double Dutchess, just cause I respect when an artist puts a shitload of effort into an album, and from what I'd seen, she seemed to have done so. I was SO pleasently surprised.
