when will TD? :bon:

TD is already iconic. A masterpiece. It delivered 5 #1 songs and broke records :bon:

This article actually understands the point of the album and twisting fame on its head into her fears from touring. Praise be to the great savior Fame Monster. I am digging references to Prince, Bowie, and George Michael as further proof. It is why Joanne has done better than anticipated as well: vulnerability. Perhaps, with some of the Johanne World Tour Visuals this is the direction we are heading again.

I agree. Joanne and TFM have a vulnerable touch to them that I don't think all her other albums have. TFM in particular manifests that vulnerability through a very unique and distinct concept. It was risky, but also felt necessary for her.

Omg the GP is finally catching on to what we knew all along. Miss Germanotta has had a profound impact on pop music and pop culture.

Teenage Dream was in their Top 150 Female Albums, though. They wrote this article as a "shocking omission" from their list because they didn't include Gaga anywhere in the Top 150. They're trying to make it right, but I'm pressed tbh.

NPR cancelled. :selena: How could they snub it like this. They betta delete that list and include Gaga at top 10 :gaycat:

Totally. I hope we get a distinct concept album again. I feel like with the Cure we could see it. I feel conceptually at the root of things is disease and love (a la Bad Romance?) it could become a more, deep down, personal narrative about life and political and social stratification/degradation of society. I am not Gaga though, so she can do what she wants. I am always up for vulnerability though.

YEAH they recognized this masterpiece, but couldn't include her on the list of best 150 albums made by women?!

It was probably overruled and this writer felt that that was not okay so she wrote this to make up for it hahaha
