What does Gaga mean by "revenge" in Bad Romance?

I was thinking about the lyrics of Gaga's iconic magnum opus Bad Romance and was confused by what it means to want someone's revenge. I get that in the song she wants to be with someone no matter the consequences but what exactly does it mean to want both someone's love and their revenge?

Taken from Genius:

What she quite bluntly states throughout this hook is her desire for intimate relations with a person she’s not quite meant to be with (i.e., as she told Grazia, a best friend). “Bad Romance” means not that a romance has dissatisfied her, but the idea of it turns her on, even though it’s against moral rules.

“I want your love and all your lover’s revenge” reinforces that, showing that Gaga is thinking recklessly and not seriously caring or contemplating the extent of how damaging a naughty tryst would be.

(basically she likes the idea of being in a relationship with someone even if it's toxic)

that she wants the action of hurting or harming someone in return for an injury or wrong suffered at their hands.

I've listened to Bad Romance for 5000 times and I never paid attention to the lyrics until now.

I mean I knew all the lines but I never pondered over them before. :emma:

I think it's just an extension of how tumultuous, and probably unhealthy, her relationship with the subject is. Or could become, if they become more than friends.

like when a crazy ex girlfriend is revenging the new relationship of her ex boyfriend so she's doing crazy things and damaging and just showing that she was toxic since the beginning.

And when she says "all your lover's revenge" she's ready for his ex girlfriends crazy actions but she likes it too, it's like a sexual fetish..

Come on and wrap that blade of grass around my hairy ass

Basically what she's saying is that she loves our meltdowns just as much as she lives for the applause.

"I want your ugly
I want your disease
I want your everything
As long as it's free
I want your love
(Love-love-love I want your love)

I want your drama
The touch of your hand
I want your leather-studded kiss in the sand"

Basically reinforces the toxic relationship meaning :lolly:

I think the best way to describe this is to take a look at another line in the song "I want your psycho, your vertigo shtick. Want you in my rear window, baby it's sick". This is a reference to Alfred Hitchcock's films Psycho, Vertigo, and Rear Window. Alfred Hitchcock had this theme of obsessive love, freaks. Pretty much wants this twisted romance, doesn't matter what happens or what you do, she just wants you and that's all that matters, not matter who or what you are.

Also in this interview Gaga states that she loves them so much she even wants the baggage that come with them no matter what also sexual connotations

then what does "i want your revenge" means, because if she wants the love of the person, the person would revenge? :O is the bridge "walk walk.." part connected to the song? :O

And when you say my name, like white horses on the waves, I think it feels the same, as an ocean in my veins.

The song is about loving someone so much that you want everything they have to offer, you'll take their good and their bad. She also mentions wanting their horror and disease,  alongside wanting their kiss in the sand and their love love love.

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

I view as she wants everything from this man. The best parts of love and the worst parts (revenge)
