I was kidding.

But I don't know tbh. Pop music is in a weird place right now with urban/hip-hop being the dominant genre for the first time in years. I guess Taylor Swif will be The Savior.

There has to be that one certain song which will bring the genre back.

Gaga did that with Just Dance back in 2008, when most of the music was riding the current Timbaland/Pharell trend.

Well, she's given us five pop albums if you count TFM.

And she's given us one Jazz album, which she specifically announced would be Jazz way ahead of time.

So I have to assume unless she specifically announces otherwise, it'll be another pop album.

I think vaporwave can be really cool, it basically sampling semi-unknown 80s music in the same vein Daft Punk did with 70s music on their Discovery album.

I'd imagine Gaga creating a song with a bit similar to the one below, with Chic like vocals . I would prefer she doesn't chop up the vocals as much as in a lot of the Vapor wave tracks.

As for Opera Dance Pop:

I was thinking of Opera Dance Pop more along the lines of this Faithless song.

I would love to hear a gaga song starting with an Opera piece or a self composed Opera piece sung by Gaga (from 00:00-01:34), and then it should flow into a sick house/dance pop beat. This beat has no vocals, but I could imagine Gaga could create a really catchy vocal melody on top of this. Around 4:49 there is this beat drop/breakdown reminiscent of Scheisse

PS: Ariana is not Opera...She wishes tho OcMLB3R.gif

REALITY

Even though I love speculating about what Gaga might do for her career, I don't know if we can really do that anymore

While all of her albums are Pop, there are certainly more "pop" elements in some more than others. So, to answer the question, yes, I do think it'll be "Pop". However, we all thought, or at least the vast majority of us, thought that LG5 would be either a pop-rock or a pop/disco album; however, it's clear that that's not what we got. I honestly don't think any of us expected Gaga to go with this whole country/folk route, but I'm happy she did :)

Who knows :selena:

Who would have thought she would release country music, followed by a generic tropical-pop inspired song :selena:

As far as it seems right now, she might release indian music.

Where is the Gaga country music y'all speak of ??? Joanne is folk/Americana-infused pop, there's literally not a country song on the record

Been a long time but I'm back in town, and this time I'm not leaving without you
