This! When I think of the typical American popstar as most would imagine, Britney Spears comes to mind... Katy Perry... Selena Gomez... Justin Timberlake... Ed Sheeran... but Gaga is somehow different from other mainstream pop acts, and has been since the start of her career (truthfully, in the same way that Madonna is, and that Kanye is separated from mainstream hip hop). I mean....we said we wanted discoGa (pre-LG5), we got CountryGa (Joanne). If we say we want Pop forever, she will make something different. SO YES....embrace that we will never get PopGa again so we actually do get PopGa. Or just say nothing at all. Because the only way Lady Gaga will ever have an actual hit again (an actually big hit folks NOT a mediocre single like MR or TC or Applause) is when this fanbase stops speculating it and just supports her damn music.
