She's focusing on being authentic, becoming an albums artist in addition to a successful single here and there, multigenerational, and most important a LEGEND :diane:

Yeah I agree with that, i feel like her next albums will be more for us to enjoy and she as well, not personal in terms of music, more personal in terms of promotion and the era itself. Somehow like Beyonce.

its more like a coincidence..

There's no denying that there has been a cleaning of her image since 2015, but that doesn't mean her connection to Joanne isn't real. It may be a coincidence that this album came at this time, but it's obvious that her and her family are very touched. I think it's more about her dad and how it changed him than about someone she didn't meet.

Do you hear that? It's poison.

But the OP says it's a marketing strategy. Then it should have increased Gaga's sales, and it was the other way around. It went against of what many would have expected from her to deliver.

I'd say The Cure was a marketing strategy. Joanne? No way

It did increase Gaga's sales though?! Joanne did much better on the charts in the US than ARTPOP. It had stablility and didn't drop off a cliff like ARTPOP. Joanne selling what it did is a success. She's stabilizing her career, cleaning any wrongdoings, making herself more authentic, and appealing to multiple generations. She's working on becoming a legend now. :diane:

I really do think ASIB/LG6 will be more successful than ARTPOP & Joanne, and perhaps a pinnacle era for her. Maybe not as big as her first eras in success, but more successful and generally accepted by the public than ARTPOP & Joanne. It will help cement her as an artist and legend.

I don't agree that she doesn't have a strong connection with her aunt. She obviously does and has since the beginning of her career. She's not the type of person that would use a death for her own benefit. :wtf:

A-Yo was almost a single at some point so I don't think it was "all planned".

I think so too. IMO she will do promo for ASIB soundtrack as if it was a stand alone album to the point that it might be LG6..., and I also think it's gonna be much more pop and mainstream sounding than Joanne, just look at TC and the snippet we saw of Heal Me, and I wouldn't be mad at it tbh

Literally every song on Joanne shits on half of her discography tho.:classy:

Someone doesnt understand the current market it seems :smh:

Sales have dropped a LOT over the past few years. If Joanne would have the sales climate of 2013, it would have been more sucesful then ARTPOP

Buy ARTPOP on itunes or smth?
