Joanne Era Fashion Recap

Hello fellow GGD members, so as the JWT has begun, I thought it would be cool to take a look at this amazing era and all the marvelous and diverse looks it brought us !

So as the era started many of us worried about the less polished fashion of the Perfect Illusion era, we were wrong though :

 

She then went more crazy with the colourful and fun A-YO aesthetics :

 

After the album release, she was serving the simple pink Joanne/Million Reasons style. While it has been criticized among the fans, it contributed to build a new image that the GP applauded and gave us viral moments, like her white hat showing up everywhere at the 2016 AMAs :

 

She even fully embraced her sophisticated "Lady" side with beautiful gowns at some moments :

 

Yet she didn't loose her darker and wilder part of her personna by serving, later in the era, her outrageous red, black leather and latex looks, along with the John Whayne music video :

 

Even if we sometimes got to see her in casual style, we still witnessed haute couture moments as she was leaving her hotel, going to the ASIB filming or taking a walk in the woods :

 

We also had great performances embellished with flawless outfits, such as the SuperBowl Halftime Show or the Victoria Secret Show ones :

 

Finally, the journey of the Joanne era took us to the ultimate experience : the Joanne World Tour. Gaga did impress and gathered several great costume, making this tour one of her best to date fashion wise :

 

I hope you guys enjoyed as much as I did the fashion of this era, and keep in mind that it is still not over and some new fresh looks might be coming.

I feel like living through the era the fashion didn't seem that impressive but looking back

I have to say the Joanne era was, for me, the best fashion-wise. Everything seemed very well tailored and created for Gaga's body which many looks from past eras unfortunately didn't have. Plus she found many new, fresh brands and tried out labels monsters always wanted to see her in such as Marchesa, Elie Saab and Elisabetta Franchi. Chapeau to her amazing styling team!

Honestly Joanne is one of my favorite eras fashion wise, don't come for me (I know you will ) but there's just something about it that makes me love it so much
