ALL artists try and claim attention with their first albums, and that's been happening since before Gaga was around. Miley has also always been altruistic, as most artists are. Given Miley's roots, it makes sense for her to be doing an album like this. I like to think that Gaga is still influencing the music industry today, but not everything is about her. I completely get your point but in sorry Christina this is too much of a coincidence. LIFE IS GOOD

She's been working on reconnecting with family and friends she lost during the whole Bangerz/Dead Petz era. If anything she's just getting back to the sound that made her famous and got her noticed in the first place 10 hours ago, aaron l said: I can't. It isn't a stretch at all...back to what made her famous? Try no, Hannah Montana made her famous, if you find Hannah around somewhere soon, drop us a line because she owes me some wig glue. There is no coincidence in the way Miley has been evolving, and the fact that she has mentioned Gaga continuously over the past years as this was all going down, it is pretty clear she has her eye on something. I love Miley, I have all of her albums, even the cringey ones, country music didn't make her famous, being on Disney made her famous, country made her daddy famous. Is this part of her family? Yes! Do I think she suddenly had a revelation and that everything she did since then has been some sort of foray into not being herself? No, because she was always pop from the start. Miley is a great artist in my opinion, but let's call a duck a duck, she evolves and changes using lessons she takes from others, nothing wrong with it, but no sense in denying it.
