JWT Flashseats problem

I'm not 100% sure, but in my memory, I thought it's only CTM package and maybe GA and other VIP tickets that are credit entry. I've never heard anyone say that seats are credit card entry. If it's credit card entry, it should explicitly say it when you buy the ticket. Do you remember the website saying that?

Pretty much every concert I've attended in the past year has been credit card entry. Adele. Lana. Metallica etc. I HATE it. It's such a damn pain when you lose the card, forget it, or buy tickets for someone else or vice versa. For example, my mom had a Citi Visa and I used her credit card to buy a VIP package for JWT and she now has to go with me just to obtain it from will call. What a pain in the A S S. Since you didn't buy a package or GA you should be FINE. Bring everything that they MIGHT want especially since you're traveling so far, but it's unlikely you'll need it. Have a great time and try not to stress too much about it.

I got my GA ticket on ticketmaster with my mom's credit card cause i aint have one. About a month later she, without knowing i needed it to get in, "cut the card up and threw it away." Then, our bank closed, so we switched banks. Ticketmaster told me i can bring a bank statement, photo ID, and proof of purchase to the venue box office. I don't know how i'm going to get out of the GA line after waiting all night and go to the box office. And I hope I don't need my my mom with me cause sacramento is 3 hours from here, and she's not coming with.

Basically, **** the whole "credit card entry" bullshit. It clearly causes more problems than it solves. God i ****ing wish we could just have our god damn tickets.

I get the entire concept that it's to prevent ticket scalping... but scampers have gotte around it by using prepaid gift cards sooooo it clearly isn't foolproof. I agree, it's caused a LOT of issues so far. My show in Vancouver was delayed bc of issues with CCE and then there were three different groups of people in front of and behind me in the Come to Mama line in Tacoma who all had to leave the line to go to the box office to get physical tickets printed bc they had problems with their credit cards used to purchase the tickets. SUCH A MESS

I figure I should provide a (somewhat) conclusion to my situation.

After about 4 hours of absolute CHAOS in my household, I have finally gotten a solution. I called like 3 different people and live chatted at least 4 times on Ticketmaster (do not recommend) and had so many different answers I was about to scream I was so confused. So naturally, I rant-tweeted @ ticketmaster and I told them their ****ING credit-card entry system was AWFUL and that I was probably not gonna get to go :grr:. I then deleted the tweet because I felt bad for being a bitch to what was probably some defenseless social media employee for Ticketmaster. But Ticketmaster saw what I had done, and DM'd me on twitter about the issue. So I told them my situation and they contacted the venue and were told that I could go to the box office after 1pm on the day of the show to verify my identity and get access to the concert, and made a notation of this issue on my ticketmaster purchase. So I pray to god that works and I don't have a situation like the one you're talking about, I hope I don't lose my damn place in line. I'm going with my sister so hopefully she can hold my spot while I go prove I bought it.

Would've been cute just to have been mailed a paper ticket, but I'm glad it all worked out.

is the credit card thing just for people that bought floor tickets or packages? I bought just regular seat tickets to the show in Toronto. Will I still need to show the credit card I paid with and it's owner? If so, idk what i'll do cause the owner will be vacationing in Greece at that time...

Oh!!no one lost heir place in line, at least in the CTM. Event staff walked people to the box office at 1 pm and the rest of us in line we're very kind and saved spots for those sorting out ticket issues. I'm nervous about the Denver show I'm going to on December because it isn't even credit card entry or using the Flash Seats app, it's at the ****ing box office :gum: I wish TM and LiveNation could have picked a singular solution for this tour tbh. OT: I'm glad you got it all sorted out now!! The girl behind me had bought tickets using her grandmothers CC and called TM beforehand and was told to bring photocopies of the credit card and her grandmothers driver license etc so it was a hassle but TM and the venues have been doing their best to rectify issues as they occur. I haven't heard of anyone not getting into a show because of it, just delays.

From what I remember, credit card entry is only for VIP packages and the GA floor. Go back to the email you have from TicketMaster though, there should be information about either the ticket delivery method (email, mail, app) or if its credit card entry. :)

That is SUCH a relief to hear, that staff walked people from the line! I guess I had this worst case scenario in my head that I wouldn't get in, but it sounds like these venues are getting used to this credit card entry crap. Ticketmaster should really find a better solution to ticket scalpers.

Yeah, all of the Tacoma Dome staff was still really unsure about how to handle everything because it's so new but they worked with people to resolve issues, and the box office seemed to either know how to fix things or called TM to get answers etc. the one thing that they all stressed so much was, don't panic, you'll get in the show, we'll work with you, this is just a new process and we're working through it. Just breathe, make it through however long until your show, and know you'll get in and have an amazing time. Grab a twink, lets go!

I bought from Vivid Seats and they sent me a gift card also. I've tried calling to make sure the actual card was ok and linked to the tickets but they said no way of checking until we try to check in at the venue on the day of the concert. We're driving 3 1/2 hours and staying overnight so it will be awful to do that and spent all day lined up and get up there to get in and not have legit tickets. I'm so worried about it :ohno:

:S

I think you will be fine! I bought instant download seat tickets as well just in case the gift cards don't work.

If those gift cards don't work, I'm definitely calling stubhub and chewing them the **** out AND I better get that money back.

Good luck! I'll let you know if my gift card tickets work! I'm going on the 21st.
