No need to be so hateful :smh:

is there a reason to this hate?

It's not hate, it's just an opinion. Celebrities put themselves and their material out there to be judged. Doing just that is normal, whatever you think of it. And in Fifth Harmony's case, I've always been kinda annoyed that Simon Cowell seems more concerned with making them into worldwide superstars despite them not being as good as Little Mix, the group he had before they existed, who he mysteriously only wants to keep as UK sensations. LM have more potential to keep having success in years to come because they're having multiple hits and have a strong friendship whereas 5H are likely to split up any day now because they've still only had 2 hits, their albums and tours don't sell, one member has left and they're just business partners at this point. Yet, Simon's getting them promo slots on Jimmy Fallon and paying their way to VMA nominations and a performance. The best US promo he's ever given LM is a Today Show performance and then wonders why they're lucky to get a song in the top 60.

It's messy. Usually this effect looks good when there's only one face, but all the overlap of the different textures makes it hard on the eyes. Maybe you need 3D glasses to get the full effect  :laughga:

about to say that. It will work much better if this is for a solo artist, now it's just a major mess

Now that they've got 4 members, they're actually calling their new album Fifth Harmony? Cringe. Self-titled albums that aren't debuts are bad enough as it is but in cases such as this? Inexcusable. That gives you a clue to how sub-standard the music contained within it will be. They've actually got a good release week though as the only big name release this month is Kesha and she'll be 2 weeks before. But it's going to flop so hard. Their lead and only single didn't even got top 20 anywhere in the world. It failed to even hit top 40 in America, their biggest market. They'll be done after this. They stand no chance. Even performing at the VMAs won't save this. Here's hoping that Simon realises they're a lost cause after this and starts giving LM, the far superior girl group (that he already had), the worldwide promo they deserve.

They still charted higher than Camilla's debut single

down was #42 crying in the club was #46

That isn't a good thing. Here's side by side comparisons:

FH - 4 of them, therefore, 4 lots of family/friends/neighbours/acquaintances to buy the single

Camila - 1 of her, therefore, only 1 set of close supporters

FH - 9.3 million YouTube subscribers

Camila - 1 million YouTube subscribers

FH - Down has 33 million views and over 700k likes.

Camila - Crying In The Club has over 64 million views and 1.1 million likes.

FH - 2 massive previous hits

Camila - this is her lead single

So, after all that, #42 is just not good enough, as 5H should be established enough by this point to go top 10 easily but now they can;t even get top 40. Their performance has been appalling for a group with this much YouTube interest. Where have all their fans gone for this song? It's bizarre. Camila, on the other hand, is just starting out and is struggling to get lots of YouTube interest yet she is close to the stats of her previous bandmates. And also, Crying In The Club did better in my country, the UK (#12) than Down did (#47).  Crying In the Club is also a bigger international hit - it went top 20 in 4 countries whereas Down failed to go top 20 in any. And its slaying Down on YouTube.

"Fifth" Harmony...okay! where is the fifth one?:awkney:

The fifth is apparently their fans now, exactly like Marina did with her name, Marina and the Diamonds. It's a good idea, but I doubt it's coming off to the public like that.
