That's unfortunate  I was just watching a funny interview the other day of his where he mentioned Anna and I thought "wow they must have such a hilarious relationship", both being funny and then imagining them being funny together

I think it's to stop the tabloids from prodding and prying endlessly and trying to get the scoop and all that, I mean they'll still do it but this way there's an official statement coming from the celebrities themselves so it makes things harder to become skewed and convoluted

See, I get where you are coming from but at the same time, I don't always buy that. Ryan Gosling is also an A-List actor who seldomly speaks of his relationship, had two children which in the three times they've been photographed in public, the publication has blurred their images, and Eva Mendes was able to hide her pregnancy until she was ready to pop (both times). 

It's fine if people want to share their personal lives, but sometimes it's just eek. Like, it's not healthy to not have any sort of private life (IMHO). You need privacy at times. 

Just like if this whole HBO-Gaga-Special is true, I'm not a fan of her having a documentary chronicling her split with Taylor. She never used to be like that, it's just weird to me.

Yeah I totally see what you mean as well and agree wholeheartedly that it's not healthy to not have any sort of private life, like we've seen so many meltdowns and bad situations that stemmed from people not being able to retreat into privacy, or not giving themselves a means for that space

There are people out there that tell the public everything and then you have people who say absolutely nothing. The last phrase stands out to me most because I think it explains it all really, like some celebrities want to beat the tabloids to the punch if they think they're getting the upper hand, others don't care and won't entertain any of it. Others may not even do it because of the tabloids but for concerned fans, whereas others think it's not anyone else's business regardless
