C2C cus it was her only album that had no effect on the GP ARTPOP is great and was great experimentation from Gaga and Joanne is showing the GP there is more to Gaga I'm assuming her next album will be more mainstream and she will be back on top (if she decided to do promo and non crap videos)

This turned into an ARTPOP hate thread :saladga:

ARTPOP is my fav album/era, definitely wouldn't choose it.

Cheek to cheek for me :poot: to be frank i have listened that album only one time and even if she has a great voice as always Im not really into jazz (except free jazz). I consider this album is a kind of cheesy-christmass-bonus but it's not really a part of her true discography (+ it's not original songs) we can't compare imo

EDIT: What?? how do you dare eliminate ARTPOP instead of C2c?? :duck: We talk about a whole era with clips, original songs, breathtaking performances, looks, concepts, tour, visuals, unreleased songs...cheek to cheek is minor in comparison :neyde:

Well I just going by the tracks alone. I adored the concept and meaning, but it was the music I liked the least. Although, the looks, visuals, and performances were top knotch and soooo ICONIC.

In terms of her career, ARTPOP. But...

If I showed Gaga's music to a complete foreigner, oblivious to her career, just to show music I would say Cheek To Cheek. There's just nothing groundbreaking on it, and it sounds very similar unlike her 4 other albums

None tbh. Some of them I like more than others. But I still love them all. And also every album happened for a reason. All of them have their unique charm and they are so different from each other and that shows her evolution as an artist and that she is one of the most if not the most versatile performers of our generation. :firega:

Why do people care so much if songs were "hits".  A song doesn't have to be a hit for it to be good.

I couldn't really choose but i chose BTW cause it alienated a lot of her fans. I guess you could say the same about any post BTW album too but I think BTW was too early in her career to have such a controversial album.

Yeah but imagine if BTW wasn't released. This album generated a lot of discussion and debates about LGBT issues and anti-bullying policies. For me it's the message that matters as opposed to commercial success. With this I'm not saying that it wasn't successful at all. She wanted to generate controversy, that was the only way of getting people talking about our society's perception of the LGBT community. This album encouraged me to come out and I've been so much happier ever since. And I can only thank Gaga and my loving and supporting family for this.

I think it's funny that people say ARTPOP but I find it to be so much better than Joanne so much more upbeat and not a country wannabe mess ? Like wth but yet when ARTPOP came out all of these fans on this website probably loved it at the time it was released I just like really you guys really think Joanne is better than ARTPOP ?  😂Seriously
