lol, other stans call her a fad. a sold out show isn't too bad for someone who's apparently 'over'

I sensed your joke immediately. I was surprised you got so many "excuse me, no"s

Then again, it is GGD, so maybe it's not so surprising. :laughga:

damn.I hope she does tho, there is high demand. But I doubt she'll sell out in Asia if she decides to tour there, she'll need to release a DarkGa project to get back em fans

She'd do just fine in Asian arenas. Stadium shows will be 50-50. The thing is, the arenas in Asia are pretty small :/ (except Japan may be, Japan has quite large arenas), I doubt they can accommodate to her stage requirements etc. Pop concerts usually downsize/ compromise their stages during their Asian leg. The Born This Way Ball in Singapore did not have monster pit.

Remember what album this is promoting. Not a commercial blockbuster but a deeply personal album. That's even more impressive.

It does make me think, though, what if she puts out a single during the tour? She could add dates after that.. And put them in place of the random Scheiße and Bloody Mary.

If she did that, they could extend the tour and travel to Asia, Latin America and Australia which would make it potentially her biggest tour ever in terms of gross.

Obviously she's not interested in long tmb style tours incase she dies again but there's nothing to stop her doing 2 shows per week in huge venues as the tour rakes in the cash. That'd prevent burnout.

2 shows per week will cost a lot of money for the promoters who are bringing her in (eg: hotel rooms).

Made up for by the gross of the shows.

It costs more to set up and travel to 4 20k capacity shows in a week than it would to put on two 90k capacity shows per week... And the overall profit is larger.

"Stack 'em high, sell em cheap" is a phrase many use for selling volumes of a product at low cost with moderate margins  (the monster balls never ending tour dates)

That changes when there's more demand so create a better model like stack em superhigh sell em moderate and reduce the volume of show's.

I just think it will be incredibly expensive to bring this massive stage to Australia and Asia. The only cheap way is just a stadium stage set-up (like for Rio), but I don't think there's enough demand for her to play stadiums in those places anymore. Maybe now the economy is doing better everywhere she could try it, but let's remember her last moderate hit in Asia was Applause and even then they didn't dare to try it. As much as I would love to see it happen, I think she's skipping it all (even Japan).

The stage really isn't that big.. But I understand what you're saying. I think she'd smash a tel aviv date though.
