hELXIG 43,098
She addressed this a lot at the artRAVE, asking people to put their phones down and live in the moment, and she's spoken about it in interviews too. A lot of artists hate it. I hate when it happens around me. You have Lady, f.ucking, Gaga right in front of you, and instead of looking at her and absorbing how amazing it is to see her in the flesh, you watch your phone screen? Isn't the whole point to see the celebrity in person, instead of on screens? I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
J e s s e 458
In japan, cellphones are banned at most concerts, but instead everyone is giving glow sticks and the look of the stadium is BREATHTAKING it really feels harmonious "They have as much in common as dinosaurs and goldfish: the cracker kind!" - Penelope Garcia

Sure, it's for capturing a moment, but honestly it really ruins all the fun of being at a concert just filming there instead of having actually fun. For example this performance of DIC. Look at everyone just filming, instead of like dancing in fcking circles. It really ruins the moment and I honestly think that Gaga would be like " Oh well, I'm earning my money anyways.. " instead of what it should be ; " Oh my god, look at my dearest fan enjoying the time of their lives!! " Should Gaga address this? -- #rant banning the phones after giving the chargers would be ironic`

Luc 4,775
I've never taken my phone to a concert, but I do understand. IMO taking a few snaps or pictures isn't bad, but holding your phone up all the time is just stupid. You'll enjoy it more with your actual eyes and memories, dancing and singing along. CalixSpurius 540
I am mildly okay with phones but once someone was recording the show with a giant a$$ iPad Now, that person deserves to go to hell
