Mr Ricky 9,051
Hey guys, I'm getting a bit bothered actually by the amount of cellphones turning on for filming the concert. Sure, it's for capturing a moment, but honestly it really ruins all the fun of being at a concert just filming there instead of having actually fun. For example this performance of DIC. Look at everyone just filming, instead of like dancing in fcking circles. It really ruins the moment and I honestly think that Gaga would be like " Oh well, I'm earning my money anyways.. " instead of what it should be ; " Oh my god, look at my dearest fan enjoying the time of their lives!! " Should Gaga address this? -- #rant Crossfit
Radio Ga Ga 5,671
I don't think they should be banned, but gaga should address the problem in every concert so people would be more ashamed to take out their phones to film
LordEnigma 11,313
It pisses me off BUT at the end of the day, if you go you gotta just enjoy it for yourself. I rarely pull out my phone because I'd rather just live in the moment. Im glad there's other people who don't care though
Weasel 12,525
I think everyone should be free to enjoy it the way they want. Personally, I am really happy to be able to ''watch'' this tour through videos on Youtube
venusfly 17,885
Cellphones annoy me in small venues where you can barely see over people's heads let alone a camera, but in the case of this tour the stage is pretty high up and you can see over it You can still have fun at a show while recording it, I record some songs because I want to remember the moment through my own videos, some people do take it too far though I think its fine as long as people aren't being obnoxious and obstructing other people. Gypsygaga1 3,623
They shouldn't be banned, because a lot of Monster cant go to her concert-Thats why they watch streams/videos Perfect Ilusion
gagagoogoose 30,952
As long as it doesn't disrupt the audience's experience, I don't see the problem with using cellphones to record her performances. Besides, some of us can't attend the tour and have to experience it via livestream (not possible without other people recording) and we won't have these gifs:
Lextyr97 19,683
If she gives us a DVD of the concert, then I'd be content with no filming but I agree. It so ruins it. I saw U2 a month ago and the parts where almost no one had their phones out was AMAZING. And when they did have their phones out recording, the crowd was so dead. Tchami 154
i dont get it. i also make some recordings at shows/festivals. but 95% of the time im dancing and having the fcking time of my life and just living the moment. so yes bann that shiit
beboskoukla 839
i think everyone knows how he wants it. some enjoy it with phone and some without.. i know its (for me) much more fun without, but i still take photos and videos... i would kinda be sad if i wouldnt have them, i love to rewatch it on my computer and to cry how amazing it was... and i show it to my family not banning this would be sad... xoxo, Katarina
SpookyKid 15,151
You can dance and record tho, I went to an Aerosmith concert last year and I managed to record 2 songs + take pics while having the time o my life, these people are just boring Life has a hopeful undertone |-/
Edonis 28,950
Banning cell phones at large venues is a terrible idea anyways. In case of emergency, how are you going to contact someone? You have to wait until you can go back to the kiosk to pick up your phone? That makes little sense to me as it is without factoring the other 20,000 people there with you who would also need to pick up their phones It's just not reasonable. I get wanting to enjoy the show in the moment and not be on your phone all of the time, but like, having an all out ban would actually detract people from going to her shows, especially after the Manchester event. It'd be a bad idea all together
bloody g 31,739
I actually was front row at the Artrave and didn't record anything to have a better "experience", now I lowkey regret it 『𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝』

GypsyBabe 22,836
I don't film at concerts for this reason. I used to take really nice concert photos of bands, and then one day I forgot my memory stick and couldn't...it was the best thing that ever happened. No stress, just enjoyment. Haven't been consumed by my phone/camera at a concert since. However, I love seeing other people videos and photographs. Spoiler I do take a few for the memories though. ⚯͛
