Beyonce's a great live performer, but Gaga is more entertaining to me. Gaga has also better songs in my opinion.

Stan Is My Name

For what it's worth Beyoncé is really good, I read that her dad made her run and sing miles in high heels and well it shows. Gaga at 30 does dance and sing well but looking at yt videos of JWT she doesn't do it like she used to, not like in her Fame Monster days. Which is totally ok w me bc I get it it's a new era, there's way more to the Joanne era than dancing for ex; the stage production values, we get to hear B sides of previous albums, her vocal talent has been getting better, overall nice to see the real Gaga irl instead of the bot version of her on twitter, etc. But look at when shes performing Applause she sorta wiggles around and calls that dancing. Im a fat piece of **** so I cant dance for **** but in comparison to Beyoncé yeah I can see where you're going. I get it, Gaga cant do as much bc of her hip and I still prefer Gaga but B does seem to do it better and she's older. But saying Beyonce is a better performer than Gaga on a Gaga oriented forum is asking for a flame war to begin even if its true. Why compare apples to oranges?

Although, Gaga can play piano and guitar, along with her speeches like the one she gave at Madison Square Garden in the Monster Ball still gives me shivers. Along with the theatrics they're all something B cannot replicate, that and I kinda wanna drag her bc she needs an entire team to write for her songs, look at Lemonade credentials and the horde of people she needs. Idk tho.

I'm pretty sure that if Gaga used pre-recorded vocals like Beyoncé does she would dance way more.

Let's not act like Gaga doesn't use them. Have you seen the Artrave? She used A LOT of pre-recorded vocals and her dancing was not that good.

She didn't have pre-recorded vocals, she had a backing track that she sang along with, it was just that the backing track was sometimes too high and drowned her out. Beyonce does something completely different, she records live vocals before the show of 75% of the song, lip sync's to that and sings live in between to give the illusion that she is singing live the whole time.

Beyonce's performance skills are undoubtably unrivalled, however her tours are boring, her music has little but evolved beyond lemonade (which is still just contemporary r&b nothing new), her PR team tries to give her a perfect image, her team steals concepts and ideas for her, she's just a pretty face who dances well at this point if she lipsynced (which i'm still sure she has done many a time) she'd be one step away from being the generic definition of a bubblegum popstar tbh

I don't get people who undervalue Beyoncé as a performer, but going by these two clips? If you really want to compare them, Gaga's trying to simultaneously dance while singing, while Bey allows vocal breaks for the dance breaks. Also they have different choreographers entirely. Also even despite Bey's roaring energy, I find Gaga to be more engaging and vocally generous, but I guess to each their own.

Here we go again, feels like there's this kind of thread every week now :awkney:

Just to make it short and simple, Beyoncé is overrated. It's not that hard to understand it people: she's not that good as you make her to be.

Whatever at the rest of your post but to say that Gaga's live performance skill are questionable sometimes is :awkney:.

She might be a better performer but I haven't been able to sit through one of her albums. Her voice is technically excellent but I hear no emotion, no real passion, and it's probably because she has a team of writers working for her.  She isn't creative at all and tbh i value creativity and passion over a technically excellent performer.

I have nothing against Beyonce. I think she and Gaga are rightly considered some of the best performers in the world. But I prefer Gaga for many reasons and I have no inclination to keep up with Beyonce or listen to her music.

With that said, I did see one of those videos showing her bossiest /bitchiest moments and I have to say I was floored by how commanding, decisive, and sure of herself she is. I love seeing that in women.

I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!
