while i still feel as Bey is extremely overrated she is a very good performer. while that doesn't speak to the quality of her music (chichis subjective) her physical appearance in stage is pretty unmatched. she still isn't a god like some people pan her out to be but still

I'm sorry but Bey's choreography is not exactly complex, her hair does most of the work 

I think it's very sad that the way I view Gaga dancing now is similar to watching Britney. They were both the fittest, most passionate performers in pop and used to slay intricate, intense choreo with easy and a spark in their eye.

Now Gaga has followed in Britney's footsteps, having completely toned down the intensity of the dance routines, and still kind of half-asses them.

I completely agree with the fact that Beyoncé is an incredible performer and an extremely talented woman, but to say she is the best is subjective.

I used to be a huge fan of hers (and I still enjoy much of the stuff she does) but I found myself really tired of this diva/god-like #flawlezzz #kween persona she carries for all of her performances. Honestly, she has yet to broadcast to me some type of emotion, while other performers like Gaga, Celine, Adele, Christina, Whitney had brought me to tears, had give me chills, made me joy through their shows, their songs, their voices, their body language, their speeches...

I do think Bey is overrated but not on the performance side, but the fact the she acts and is treated like is a second coming, which is really really annoying. She is just a performer, an excellent one.

Beyonce is lip syncing in almost the whole performance tho, the only part she sang live was the "what's worst looking" line, and the audience sang the other part, besides that, it was not live.

Beyonce is beautiful and her dancing is amazing, but she is just a regular woman that needs to lip sync in order to give great performances.

 

Gaga sang live, I'd rather go to see that

If you don't appreciate Gaga's performance ability, why are you on her fansite? Seriously, we're here because we love Gaga, why should we use her as a negative example to make another singer look better? I've never in my life seen a fansite where its members frequently rip on the object of the site's affections. Makes absolutely no sense.

But for the record, you are comparing apples and oranges. Beyonce was well into her show by this point and had been on a non-stop tour for basically 4 years straight (as soon as she finished one, she started the next). Gaga, on the other hand, was performing on the opening night of her show and hadn't done a proper, energetic tour performance since November 2014. Obviously, there will be nerves present and things in the show may go wrong, cues are missed, etc. She may be a little clunky until she gets to know the tour better. All things considered, Gaga is still putting on great shows even though she's taking bigger breaks between performances now. That's more impressive to me than a singer who has been on a non-stop tour.

Gaga brings something that Beyonce just can't. Gaga means every word that she sings because she wrote these songs. She puts her heart and soul on that stage and you feel it in your bones. There's an honest connection with the crowd. Her heartfelt performances cut to the heart of all that I am. Beyonce, on the other hand, is too perfect for my taste. If she was revealed to be a robot, I wouldn't be surprised. That to me, is not a true performance artist. I prefer something wilder, crazier, more raw and real. If I wanted to see perfection, I'd just stick to watching the edited music videos.

I do believe that Beyonce is an incredible performer and from a technical point of view she probably is better than Gaga most of the time.

But when it comes to what I get from that performance and who mezmerises me + whose talent, voice and persona shines I still feel that Gaga is by far the better artist.

Her artistry is just more interesting and unique imo.
