Do you think Gaga can still sing in her old voice?

I have to admit I absolutely adore her older cute pop voice from The Fame era but I'm still glad that she has develop her voice. I believe she's intentionally singing the way she sings like now. She probably could change her voice if it would fit her intentions.

She's older now and has smoked them all :stalkga:it's hard to get your original tone back when you're drinking and smoking a lot

Her voice on Joanne is what really bothers me the most. Songs like Angel Down, Million Reasons, Diamond Heart, Come to Mama and ESPECIALLY Perfect Illusion (although that song was terrible from the start) were ruined by her overly dramatic vibrato and timbre. It sounds very forced and not as cool and effortless like her 2008-2011 vocals. I wish she could go back to that. Maybe take some RnB/Pop vocal classes.

The Cure says hello and borrows from the pre-Fame/Fame vocals so I don't see why not? But when it comes to live performances, Gaga almost always sings in a lower register than the album cuts.

Lol, The Cure wishes

As I was watching Gaga sing hits from earlier in her career, it made me wonder whether it's possible for her to revert to her TF/TFM/BTW voice or if she's permanently stuck in her ARTPOP vibrato. I'm not hating on either voice, I think both versions sound wonderful, but it sounded especially odd to me in songs like Paparazzi and LoveGame. Her original sweet/smooth pop voice suits those songs so much better than the opera-esque, acrobatic ARTPOP/Joanne voice and I'm wondering if it's possible for a singer to be unable to return to an original tone? Has she evolved so drastically that she literally can't sing the way she did on TF/TFM/BTW?

WAJUMIN PAPARAZZI?

Why would she? Her technique (especially her diction) is so much better now.

Been a long time but I'm back in town, and this time I'm not leaving without you
