Can you stop with "I wanted original album"

I, along with many other fans I'm sure, would LOVE to hear what her and RedOne worked on during the early stages of LG5 (especially since it was probably inspired by The Countess from Hotel). Even though what we got as the final product of LG5 may have been entirely different from its early stages (except for Angel Down, possibly).

The thing is, Joanne is what we ended up with and ultimately, what Gaga wanted to showcase to the world. Clearly its a very special and personal album to her. We should honor that. We know she's a very creative artist and person. Musically, I'm sure there's always changes and new inspiration during the writing/recording/producing process. What we got is what we got, whether you all like it or not (I happen to love Joanne, by the way). There's literally no sense in complaining about it now. Yes, we can hope and dream about the original concepts all we want. But at the end of the day, it's best to just look forward.

Spoiler

I do hope at least one of those songs leak one day though.

It doesn't mean she did much with these other collaborators.

And you're also speculating at this point

when Mark Ronson himself stated that they had no direction planned and started a few days after they met up while Gaga had met with some five to six other collaborators who shared similar concepts/genre, this just doesn't hold true

Anyway the funny thing is that whenever this subject is brought up, the people who think LG5 did not have an original/different theme or direction can never come up with receipts and always tells the others "you dont know that" or some variation but those that think otherwise can bring up interviews from parties involved before AND after the direction change to support the idea that Gaga changed her mind. Like I'm open to being proven wrong but I just don't see enough receipts to convince me Gaga didn't scrap enough materials for her album.

Didn't she say there were songs inspired by her character on American Horror Story: Hotel? And there were also rumored song titles like "Blood" that support this. But tbh it sounds like a bad song so maybe it was for the better :madge:

at the time she probably was working on a dark concept inspired by AHS but not every piece of inspiration makes it to the end :noparty:

there's been so many times where i've been inspired and realised that the end product isn't the best i can do so i end up scrapping it, more than once too :selena:

however i'm so here for a dark era

People want was supposed to be the actual LG5 because she worked on that one the most.  She was working with RedOne and Nile.  Wasn't she inspired by her role in AHS when making LG5?  It seems like it was going to be pretty dark.  Joanne seemed like last minute.  Still a very impressive album since it was done at the last minute.  I just remember RedOne saying he would only work with her again if they had the magic like they did when they did TF and TFM.

No. She was working on a personal album since the beginning. She even said it in early 2015 that she was working in her old self. Just because it's Red One doesn't mean they're gonna be a bunch of bops. And about AHS, i don't think she actually meant it in the way we think. I think she was talking more about the acting technique idk about that lol
