Americano 31,061
Thats because he speaks for people at the business conference and not for press or fans. if you think about it he actually says a lot of smart and interesting things I was talking to Nicole later and Carter seems to be like her best asset, team-wise. Her creative team can be rather volatile with change, but he's been a consistent presence in projecting her music to the public effectively. Some of his wording is bizarre, but he's focused in the right direction and knows his stuff. Definitely experienced in the field. Gaga has brushed against house music already IMO. Scheiße isn't exactly house, but she's tried it with BTW's remixes (on the bonus track version) which included Zedd so I wouldn't doubt she's been thinking about it. I think there's a misconception that pop currently is heavily house influenced. Rihanna doesn't really use it, she's more of electro/typical dance. However, rumor has it (pun) that she's going towards a house direction for her next album. And, if Katy Perry does truly want a darker era, I would expect it out of her too. She's almost pure pop currently. Gaga has an opportunity (looking like she'll be the first girl with a new era) to look like she kicked it off. http://soundcloud.co...ribay/mixtape10 3:58, 5:00, 28:20, 40:17, 46:00, 53:50 53:50 is the most accurate representation of true house. (Garibay's mixtape) It's a lot darker than anything you'd hear on pop radio right now. Obviously it'd be mixed with pop/Lady Gaga vocals etc. Again, it depends how much of a rock-edge she wants to maintain. House music would almost toss that direction out the window, and would also crush any hopes of a "lighter" sound.
KillerQueen 8
Thats because he speaks for people at the business conference and not for press or fans. if you think about it he actually says a lot of smart and interesting things I get that about what he's speaking on, but it's always mumbled and thrown asort and never exciting.....since some above said that my comment would make him "boring". He just seems to throw out alot and then we as fans just have to draw our own conclusions and even pick and sort what statements are made about what artist and what time frame. I'm not complaining about this news, it's great that we know that Gaga has at least three more albums coming. With me, it's always his delivery and frame of mind. I agree with what you're saying about the direction being tossed out the window completely. And like I said too many artists rely on whats 'in' and run off with it. With Gaga things get so black or white. If she does actually let Zedd sprinkle whatever on her new album it WILL most likely be too familiar with what's on the charts now. Which I'm sure she isn't trying to do. If she decides to run off and dabble in something she hasnt yet, or continue with what she's doing (looking at HML, Scheiße, and GH) it could either (finally) lead radio in that direction, or leave her in place where only little monsters are still listening to her. So....who knows what she'll do.

Americano 31,061
Its pretty obvious were not getting the album this year though Where? He actually refused to answer whether we'd have a new album this year, indicating quite the opposite.

Gaga is Life 101
It would be nice if she stays with Interscope.
Arturo 40,746
Its pretty obvious were not getting the album this year though No we are 90% sure we're getting it this year. Jeff confirmed a Q4 release. Just because the tour isn't over until Spring doesn't mean we're not getting new music this year
elysaint 51
I don't understand why some people are having such a hard time understanding what Troy said I started at the OP and read through the first page, then I bet myself that if I skipped to page 8, Monsters would still be arguing over this ! He basically said Interscope wants the new album out by YESTERDAY, so it's clearly been in production for a while. By refusing to confirm, he indirectly confirmed that we will have an album this year. Gaga has confirmed that we will have the album this year.. why are people still questioning this?! And after 3 more albums Gaga might want to start her own label tbh .
