Telling Your "Pre-LG5" Self About Joanne

Now that we've seen the tour, we can at least assume that we have a good idea of the era as a whole. 

If you could go back in time to, say, March 2016 and tell your past self what the era would be like, how would u do it?

 

Personally I wouldn't want to spoil TOO much. I would tell myself that the lead single was definitely hyped up the wrong way (called a dance floor smash/2nd Bad romance). Although the beginning of the era will be dissapointing, the era will only get better. There will be performances that show you the old Gaga, HUGE performances that you will watch on repeat for months, and the tour will prove once again that despite her image earlier the era, Gaga is still the pop queen she always was.

I'd tell myself that the music from this era is not what we'd expect at all, but it'll be an incredible album, and that the visuals as a whole will be like something we'd didn't really expect either. Also, I'd tell myself that the era will be controversial within the fan base

i would probably say that this album will teach you a lot about maturity and your music taste is going to expand more than you ever expected, ignore the false claims about country, everything will be fine and GET A DAMN TICKET FOR THE TOUR

I was a casual fan when PI got released and I haven't listened to all the Joanne until March  so for me this era wasn't anticipated. At first I was scared because everything was so non-Gaga and the songs were different, but then I saw some pictures and videos etc and I even stared to like this toned-down Gaga and to appreciate to a certain extend all the songs.
