Come for me, spam me with "excuse me no"s, I don't give a ****. :awkney: This era is everything that I never wanted Gaga to do, and still don't want from her.

The official singles are two of my LEAST favorite songs on the record. She has not worn ONE look this entire era that I've been able to enjoy. I think its a disgrace against her career that "The Cure" was released when she has "Deep Blue". John Wayne, one of the best songs in her entire career, did not get the single treatment it deserved, and ended up being the only instance where I enjoyed a visual this era. I hate the pink hat with a PASSION. I despise the fact that she's paid dust at both the SB and the JWT to ARTPOP, which is easily her best album. I hate that "Scheisse" got a tour placement when both "Government Hooker" and "Sinner's Prayer" exist. I love Scheisse but omg. The setlist was all over the place, and it seems like she literally just put her playlist on shuffle and said "ok, lets do that order". I hate that she used "Come to Mama", when it combined with "Posh Life" are this sound that don't fit her at all, don't compliment her voice, and she can just not make it sound good. Father John Misty has a voice that can make "Come to Mama" work. Gaga doesn't and never will. Her voice can suit literally any other genre/sound though. I hate this whole croptop hillbilly aesthetic shes had the past year. I'm probably never gonna find the JWT stage pretty, cause it isn't. The JWT however is literally the only time this era that I've liked a hairstyle from her. This entire year, watching Gaga has just been really unsatisfactory for me. The DIC choreo has truly been the only highlight.

At the end of the day, I still support her and will continue to check for her when she has new music coming out, but I just really ****ing hate this era. I do. :selena:

Me looking up everyone who liked this post so I can take the appropriate measures

I agree with almost everything except the ARTPOP comment!

Don't feel discouraged to speak your mind and express your thoughts and criticism. What I have noticed it that only people who were very passionate about Gaga in the first place are the ones most easily disappointed. You and me, we have both high standards because we know what she's actually capable of and it seems that potential is being wasted.

Love you, don't ever hide how you truly feel because others may not like it!

Many of ur opinions don't fit me, but we're on the same wave.

I try to get excited as I did with born this way but she'll never do something like that. The outfits. The messages. The videos. The songs.

so sad

Ok and it also resonated with a lot of people besides her fans. Not everything needs to personally appeal to you. Don't go to the tour if she's not playing your personal playlist.

Some didn't like ARTPOP. Some don't like Joanne. It's ok, you're entitled to it.

Then why did all of the singles flop?

Joanne could have easily been turned into an EP or a side project imo.

I'm in love with this Era. If only it was bigger... My only regret is that PI wasn't pushed as the main single instead of MR. It's the best dance song Gaga has given us.

Ugh I remember when Gaga was DRAGGGT for even writing PI let alone releasing it as a single let alone a LEAD single yet now it is one of the most loved songs she's ever released. The geys need to make up their minds or stop being dramatic lmao

Iv loved PI since the beginning so I'm glad its getting the recognition it deserves but MAN Gags was dragged in the beginning. Especially around the chainsmokers MESS. I feel like that's a big reason why she kinda let it flop, now her fans are like "omg we love ittt!11!" so she's like "okay what do you want, like???" etc etc etc

the album and singles have done better than most of the pop girls, you're constantly putting gaga down cus not everything has hit number 1 this era :emma:

gaga will not always been on top with every album ans thats totally fine. she's had the major sucess and the number 1s and record breakers but this era has been amazing when you focus on more than the charts :ladyhaha:

she could have treated her singles better but at least the tour is phenomenal, they clearly put a lot of money, time and attention towards it

Now that you've gotten this out of your system, come back when she releases something more to your liking.

There's nothing wrong with changing your mind - the song is a momentous change of direction for Gaga, and after being described inaccurately by iHeartRadio as a 'dance-floor anthem', people were understandably shocked and disappointed.

After people took the time to adjust to the new sound, people began to come around and love it. The emotion in Perfect Illusion is so much more raw than in most of the other songs on Joanne, and for that reason, I think people really love it.

But it wasn't because Gaga isn't here to please you mr particular taste.

The only thing I love more than Joanne is the fact that it put so many people in their place.
