While I liked the album, and the tour looks decent, nothing about this era has blown me away. Her outfits have been tame, videos lackluster (John Wayne was alright, you just had trouble seeing it because of how fast the cuts were), and the tour lacks cohesion and a theme. The album itself was just okay to me. But I think that an album cycle like this was bound to happen in her career at some point, so it is't a huge deal. Every artist seems to have one. Joanne era otherwise just getting better and better, we all thought she's doomed when PI flopped but she just kept surprising us, if you have tracked the chart thread you would know after PI there's no radio wanted to play MR(and that's why it didn't become a hit until SB) but every time she performed that song it always gave Joanne's sales a boost.Her team may has its flaws but at least they know how to stick to a solid plan, if they only wanted to please her fans and make DIC single I'm sure we will never gonna get that BB top 4 hit. and the lack of aesthetic is totally reasonable, this is her stripped-down era, and it clearly rebuilt her connection with people who thought she's just a weirdo.and she kept serving vocals and spectacular shows like Superbowl and Coachella. My point is that this is not about what her fans want, this is about what she need she needs to find her passion to music back and she needs to prove GP she's still a superb performer and capable of serving the audience a good show without those fancy clothes. and you guys have to stop asking her to do what you want from her or be the"old gaga" and just appreciate what she's doing now.you really have to realize she's not obligated to care about your feelings and she owe you nothing, she has her own demon to fight. She did that with the Oscars performance, Sound of Music performance, Imagine perfomance, C2C, Till it Happens to You and such... now can she show this newly hooked GP that those fancy ass clothes don't make her angelic voice magically disappear ?
