exactly. Water stage, giant rotating screen, intense dancing.

If you didn't even go and see it live and you didn't see the JWT live I dont think you can really compare the two especially considering all we've seen from the JWT are snippets and the full was from grainy far away cameras

there are FULL 4K videos on YT henny

No, sorry. It was incredible to witness live.

Beyonce has a way of maximizing minimalism. The stage at first glance is barren, almost boring. But once the giant cube starts rotating, lit up with insane interludes, mixed with the lighting and smoke...iconic. She has such a presence, and commands the audience with silent pauses, insane choreo, and ferocity. She's empowering, and immensely talented all at once. Perhaps emotion-less at times, but that's what gives her this god-like aura.

If we want to discuss lame tours we can drag Anti into this. :giggle:

One thing I was shook about was her hair, it seemed to have a life on it's own

Hunny let's not, ANTI WT was a shitshow  :selena:

It just seems like all these anti beyonce posts come so frequently it isn't like this is the first, second, or even third this week.

I don't see the difference between bringing her up all the time and paws down little monsters. in the words of gaga "if you don't like something give it a simple thumbs up or thumbs down and move on" no need to call in the anti beyonce brigade just because Gaga's tour just started up again

Sorry but Formation tour is very good, i didnt thought much about it when i saw some clips but it's well thought out, concise, cohesive, simple and everything goes well from the vibe of the songs and style to design.

Gaga has more ideas, more interesting sometimes, but she misses all these points. But she has been more all over the place. In the end, it's not about how good the ideas are but always the execution.

Honeslty I think it would have. The points of complaint from critics for gaga tours is that they can crazy overproduced, and a little much to keep up with, but Bey found the perfect balance, and she put on seriously one of the best tours of all time.

I think Gaga found the perfect middle ground this tour, and that's what is making the JWT shape up to be her best. I hold it at the same level as the FWT.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

No shade, she is extremly talanted but i feel like everything she does gets 100x more attention and aclaim then if anyone else would do the same thing. Just because she is beyonce everything is soo good :poot:

It was amazing. The combination of the fans, the weather, and the spectacle was out of this world. The point of the show that I took away was the identity of culture that Beyonce celebrated. It's hard to argue that a white rural person would understand what the Formation Tour was about tbh. And that's part of the reason why people can't see past her image. I really enjoyed the stage as it had a life of it's own. Even the speakers were powered by THX which had an amazing intro before the concert began. The intimate and explicit moments were amazing and had me shook. Transitions were always amazing like going from Crazy in Love to Bootylicious. The water pool with Freedom was also a beautiful performance. Overall, Beyonce is very well rehearsed. She's not perfect, but her choreography and presence throughout the show is masterful and impressive to witness.

Just because you don't understand it doesn't mean it can't be acclaimed. There are all sorts of concerts of all genres that are well received, but that doesn't mean they all have to have amazing lighting, costumes, dancing, etc.

THIS THIS THIS

I saw The Formation Tour and went away thinking it was the greatest live show of all time.

What too many Gaga fans don't understand is that sometimes the "spectacle" can just be the artist you are going to see. The Formation Tour stage was ICONIC with that huge revolving screen, but aside from that, just the way Bey maneuvered in between songs had me SHOOK. When she would do medleys of song, the transitions were so incredible that I didn't miss pyro (even though we had some of that).

The Formation Tour was a audio and visual masterpiece.
