Fun fact: The old acronym from the site you are talking about autocorrects to GGD.

Old offenses die hard :deadbanana:

What the... WOW the animosity between those two forums truly never died, did it? A MESS!

Irrelevant

ok so after taking everything in, controlling my shookness and rewatching some parts of the show, here is my conclusion.

The stage and set will still be amazing to me :firega: The screen "pods" at the top of the stage going down as a bridge, the use of screens at the main stage, the moving parts of the stage, were amazing.

The setlist was good at the start, and started going down after Applause :rip: The lack of Joanne was a bit weird, but the main problem was how the songs were positioned together. Idk about you but Applause -> Come To Mama and Paparazzi -> Angel Down were so odd. The encore was also pretty messy. The best parts of the setlist were probably the second act (JW -> Alejandro) and the red (i lost count :emma:) act (BM -> Paparazzi). Those were also the parts of the show I enjoyed the most.

The interludes were good, but kinda random-ish. The Monster Ball had consistent interludes, but the JWT was kinda all over the place.

The outfits were good, but nothing breathtaking. BM was probably the best one, followed by JW. Meanwhile the artRave served up iconic looks, good or bad.

Vocally and choreography-wise Gaga was great, didn't interact too much but that's probably going to change as the tour goes on. Pretty happy with her stage presence.

Overall score: 7.5/10 Better than TFB and tied with TMB 1.0.

Nothing but TEA!

Not trying to be a downer for the people who genuinely liked the show but yeah I had to share my thoughts and I'm glad we can both agree.

For people who are probably keeping their comments to themselves in fear of nasty comments telling you to log out and leave the fanbase. Please do share them, I feel great after doing so. It's good to have different and varied opinions. Don't mind the excuse me no's. :toofunny:

EXACTLY. I don't think there is anything wrong in sharing your (negative) opinion as long as the criticism is somehow justified (although it's sometimes hard to justify exactly why something wasn't appealing to you).

no for real. i really liked it! amazing light, interluedes, stage is cool too!

maybe she could add 2-3 more songs to the list so that it are 23-25 not only 20 or 21? that's what i am a bit sad.. but she did amazing!!!

but i have to admit... i dont like the whole order of the songs.. but that's just a small contra. happy gaga is doing a tour again and that i'm gonna see her in september..

still thinking about buying the CTM package and to sell my standing tickets....

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the sections with only two or three songs have at least one more song among them. She was meant to start at 7:30, not 9 after all.

Setlist: pros and cons

+ The slow songs were not put together to create a super long acoustic set like her previous tours. It usually becomes boring during this part but now it's bops - ballads -bops - ballads, just like in an album.

- The old songs remained the same. A change would've been nice.

+ Fan faves. I love me some Scheisse

- Lack of Artpop and GG (but I understand why it was cut)

She also needs a team that is honest and not a bunch of yes-sayers. A team that is not afraid to tell her when she has shitty ideas. I think Gaga doesn't like people who tell her the truth. She prefers people who constantly scream YAAASSSS and support everything she wants to do which is good but they don't give her the right input to IMPROVE her ideas and concepts. I think everything is 100% Gaga now but the benefit of a team is that things don't end up one-dimensional, that there is a constant input of new ideas but she's not being a team-player nowadays and it sucks cause she has really burned out in terms of creativity.

can you just shut up? WE GET IT YOU DONT LIKE THE TOUR, here's your price:troph%C3%A9e-accueil-600x600.jpg

Now can you stop spreading negativity on every single thread? If you expected something else that's your problem, the tour is amazing and so is Gaga.

Her fans have always been better managers and more creative than her actual team. From single choices to videos, to tours.

I think it really all started to become bad when she fired Laurieann and Joseph Kahn. When she shot TEOG video...that's really where it slowly but steadily went downhill. Followed by the wrong single choice that was Yoü and I (HML should have been the single instead) and the long wait for Marry the Night.

And if you think you could do it better you should start writing songs and become a superstar.

Tours are a difficult thing. Some monsters even hated The Monster Ball so any constructive criticism is fine!
