The 34-year-old suspect suffered life-threatening injuries in a gunfight with police officers outside the venue in the city of Konstanz, near the Swiss border. He later died in hospital. Police had rushed to the Grey nightclub on Max-Stromeyer-Strasse shortly after the shooting began around 02:30 GMT. One person was killed inside the club and three guests were seriously wounded. A police officer was injured in the exchange of fire with the suspect, but police say his injuries are not life-threatening. Police later ruled out terrorism as a motive in the shooting. The gunman was identified as an Iraqi citizen who was not an asylum seeker. I remember just a few years ago ppl did not think like that immediately. If you heard a shooting had happened you just assumed it was a shooting that was probably gang related or due to a heated, drunken argument etc...
