Bonkers 29,484
That's a bit out of context because the interviewer seemed to be implying she was a female-supremacist, which is sort of a common misunderstanding of the word. Miley 5,006
Anyone saying feminism sucks or that Gaga isn't feminism can have a seat. If you don't like feminism then you don't respect equality. And to have the nerve to say that Gaga is not a feminism. Of course she is. She push boundaries all the time. She was a young woman when she started in the industry, and is a touring force respected by lots of people. She has been trashed for how she looks, fat or skinny, short or tall, sexy or not, ugly or beautiful. She is a hard working woman that opens up a lot for other female artists. She fights for women and equal rights. She fought for Kesha. She fought for us. She fought for herself. So to dare saying she is not a feminism.. goodbye. And to those saying it's a bad thing: please educate yourself. Feminism isn't about not shaving your armpit or hating on men, just like ISIS is not islam. ItsTommyBitch 12,640
Most of the pop girls, hell most people back then were afraid of the word; many people still are We shouldn't fault them for it, only slightly praise those that weren't afraid to embrace it and educate themselves when it was unpopular to do so 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

Womanism is actually a term denoting feminism that specifically focuses on black women or all women of color It's a bit more complicated than that, but its a subset of feminism, in my many years of being in feminist circles, only black women (and a few poc) have ever self identified as womanists to me. Ik thats anecdotal, but its just not like "womanist" is a generic term 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから
Buddy 5,686
Good, she's woke. Third wave feminism is annoying And don't come @ me saying feminism is simply the belief that genders should be equal. It's not that simple in 2017, though feminists will cite that basic dictionary definition to guilt trip you into it. They know what they're doing
