I mean, I don't disagree. I definitely think murderers, pedophiles, sex offenders, etc are treated way to well  I feel if the police officer is putting their own safety at risk to arrest a piece of **** human, he should use the necessary means, rather than go really nice and risk themselves getting hurt. And I mean, the murderer or rapist probably could use a couple bumps on the head, tbh :lana:

When they're being arrested, they haven't been convicted of a crime. Ur innocent until proven guilty.

Yes, so if the person calmly cooperates, they won't get their head bumped :gaycat: But a lot of the time people are struggling, trying to get away, being threatening towards the cop, and the police have no choice but to be rough. That's what I'm talking about when I say they shouldn't have to worry about not harming the person.

Yikes at the officers applauding :wtf: They certainly don't help the, rightful, fear many have of the police force. A true shame too because these pigs ruin it for the ones who truly care about their communities.

I'm not surprised anymore. It shows that US is very from similar to other countries in Africa and Middle East with such behaviour etc.

Mythos

Thank god there are no (almost weekly) incident where cops hurt/kill someone, let give them more power, make them more aggressive. What could go wrong with that...

Not everyone getting arrested is a murderer rapist or bank robber, some are merely j walkers, people who went over the speed limit, drug users, etc.

Depends on the crime. A rapist/murderer deserves the rough treatment. It'll be wrong if they harshly treat a guy for stealing :green:
