Gardevoir 9,822 Posted July 25, 2017 Share Posted July 25, 2017 Okay so this is not going to be your typical thread, but last night when I was re-watching Gaga's coachella performance, during her Million Reasons performance to be exact, I recalled her unconventional/awkward (which is so cute) glance that happens to her throughout her whole career. You know what I mean? Gaga is also not your typical person, she's very peculiar, her moves are sometimes a little bit specific and because I lack of word I'll say "awkward". It's the most visible during her interviews. It's usually the moment when she's looking away during conversation. Sometimes it looks like she's not comfortable with her interlocutor, but I think it's just her facial expression and I find it so adorable. It is cute though. no, it's not just that, cause she does the same thing at her concerts. and as I said, the captures aren't that concrete. It's hard to portray with no motion. Mid way through a convo I stop looking at them in the eye. idk why...I think it's because I find eye contact for too long sort of awkward and almost too personal if that makes sense? I think that's what happens to her. mid way through an interview she completely stops looking at the person talking to her and just does that look lol. I also do this to collect my thoughts. Sometimes while I converse with someone a face can be distracting to me so I need to look away to complete a proper flow of thought to give you a proper convo or answer or w/e. You can only imagine how this effected me in school with my teachers lol. Whenever they'd scold me I couldn't look them in the eye and they thought it was either because I had a bad attitude or because I felt bad for what I did when in actuality I was just too shy to look to long in their eyes. She always does that, and lots of times follows with like a head twitch or something I think it's honestly because she has such a busy, creative mind that her mind momentarily goes elsewhere while doing things and it's noticeable through her expression. So the laughter is happening, but you can tel she's still thinking of something else, which is why her eyes are looking off somewhere else in a glazed over/expressionless way haha. She was going through Sonja's illness, and we don't know if she was feeling too depressed and maybe anxious to perform in front of so many people.
