idk, if i was her i would've said F**k you dad. :fthis:

I agree but keep in mind that both Hillary and Obama flip flopped on gay marriage. As long as she's at the right place now, shouldn't that be all that matters?

Personally? It's a bit too early to me to feel so strongly about any candidate :emma: Im not even seriously considering any of these people as being contenders yet, I just know some who would immediately be strong based on their records + history

I am more worried about moderate democrats failing to fix the divide between far lefts and independents and core democrats... Clinton was a good candidate imo, but they just can't ignore the people that gravitated towards a person like Bernie Sanders and if we don't appeal to these people, I think we will probably lose. Still, if this was not Trump, with Russia, and all of the BS, I think a moderate democrat could win, and far left ideals (mostly on social issues) are really not that off base. I just don't want an establishment democrat basically, but then again anyone is better than Trump or a Republican :gum:

I will strongly oppose anyone trying to prop up Cory Booker though :rip: Like, I'll only vote for him if he wins the primaries, but hes honestly disgusting and I will lose ALL hope in the DNC if they are so ****ing blind as to endorse him early. They need to LEARN from their mistakes with the 2016 primaries

I'm not jumping on any bandwagons until around the primaries.

Hmmm...I like him, he's extremely intelligent and well-spoken. I don't think we will get another minority in the prime slot for 2020, though...but ya never know.

I'm thinking that they are going for the moderates who are disgruntled with the healthcare mess, not the progressives...but time will tell on that too. A lot can change in the next couple of years. Events that happen can make certain candidates more likely and others less likely.

Can Obama run again? Lol

He is both of these things, but hes also kind of a notorious sell out that goes to say really meaningful, inspiring things, then reneg on positions because of clear influences by outside forces... I had heard it for a few years about him, but didn't really notice it until last year and I was super off put by it. Im against him because he seems to lack integrity.

Now THIS is the type of first Woman president we need. She could help pave the way for future female presidents, which wouldn't have likely happened with Hillary, considering almost half the country hated her, and most knew her as untrustworthy (don't lie to yourselves, you knew it too).

She sounds and looks VERY promising. I could definitely get behind her, especially if she has less of that "liberal" baggage that I find to be completely ridiculous but is so hated on these days. However, not being so attached to that label like Elizabeth Warren and Bernie are could be a very beneficial thing.

She seems like a very intelligent and capable candidate.

i would vote for her because she's not donald trump. but she's a little too conservative on gay rights. but i can look past that cause i'm not one of those liberal people who didn't vote for hillary and let donald win last election -_-

She actually clarified that and is 100% liberal on gay rights and believes gays have the right to marry.

She was only against it before she was a Democrat Representative because her father was a Senator who was against it.

Even if she wasn't exactly for LGBTQ rights, I couldn't see her actively fighting to harm the LGBTQ community :laughga:

She has my vote if she runs

That's something we need from both sides really. Well all have this general idea of what a Democrat or a Republican looks/sounds/thinks like and it's really a caricature of the worst people in those parties :laughga: I want a competent Republican with sensible views to run against Trump in the primaries. Then they can go at it with Tulsi and discuss actual issues with class and integrity. Then the people can decide from there.

Spoiler

Inb4 Trump ends up going against her and makes comments about her looks, her veteran status, and her "disloyalty" to the Democrats. We all know he would :laughga:

I knew it :deadbanana:

When you live in this country knowing there's millions of weapons capable of mowing down entire crowds all around you and they're owned legally by people who didn't have to go through a background check or a waiting period of more than three days (or no waiting period at all for handguns), then you can say something about American gun laws :laughga: Tens of thousands of people have their lives taken at the end of a barrel. Reform is needed and that's all I'm saying about that :nails:
