Imagine she was just working and trying to do her job and some man lifted her skirt and groped her without her consent. Isn't that disgusting? Isn't that totally unacceptable? Nobody should have to deal with that. Nobody should have to just go about their business like "Oh, someone might just casually sexually harass and assault me today... That sucks but I'll just put up with it." People complain that it only happened once, but if it happened more than once people would be like "Well, why didn't she say something the first time?? If what she is saying is true why didn't she put a stop to it immediately??". There is no winning. No one is saying that it's no big deal.

There are users saying: "If I sued every man that groped me at the club I'd be a ****ing billionaire. Let it go." That makes it seem like 'no big deal'. Even your comments: "Is that it? Trashy, unacceptable behaviour but why put him on trial for that?" "putting him on trial for simply touching her once when it wasn't a repetitive thing seems a little too far tbh." "if they were friendly with each other then surely she'd be a little more lenient with him but I don't feel like someone should go on trial just for one ****, unacceptable move." Downplay what happened as if it's no big deal.. Sexual assault is serious, if somebody put their hands down my pants and groped my ass - you bet I'd be taking that seriously. Someone lifted Taylor's skirt and groped her ass. That's serious. It's not just bad behaviour, it's not just trashy, it's not just a **** move, it's not just a 'simple' touch. It's sexual assault plain and simple. Nobody deserves to be treated like that and it's absolutely serious enough to warrant a court case. Everyone should know that it's not in anyway acceptable to sexually assault people. Everyone should know that you don't lift up a woman's skirt and touch them. Everyone should know that it's serious and should be treated with more than a slap on the hand and a "Oh, that's just such bad behaviour! Totally unacceptable, please don't sexually assault people again, okay?"

And yes....a man lost his job because he groped somebody (which still has not been proven). I mean....should everyone just start accusing people of sexual assault? Is that how you make money nowadays? That's ****ing what's sick. And the only reason she's been hiding in a suitcase (another unproven fact, that's speculation) is because she got exposed last year and went into hiding. Clearly the man brought a lawsuit against her because she was lying on him. The case WREAKS of it. Yes....sometimes people make up being raped. Anyone who has ACTUALLY dealt with this knows the perpetrator always wants things to stay quiet. Why would he blow it up and bring mass attention to it himself if he knew he was guilty, especially in this social climate? This sounds like another bullshit move of Taylor's to appear relevant. And she's lied on a guy before and has **** on at least 20 guys before. She even made a video where she simulates using guns and violence against another girl over a background dancer argument. Taylor Swift is crazy and manipulative. It's right in front of everyone's eyes! A lot of what you are saying is speculation about her too
LordEnigma 11,313
I'm not sure why people are comparing situations. Murdering someone is obviously worse than punching someone, but you would still sue the person punching you, yeah? If it had some affect physically or mentally to you? Or just because it's a "lesser" offense, we should all just shame you because you didn't get murdered? @SISTERV

This is really simple. A stranger (male) lifted her skirt and grabbed her ass. He then sued her when she spoke up about it. So she countersued. Its simple. Of course the case is yet to come but if what happened is true then she is 100% in the right no matter how you try and spin it. I'm pretty sure a lot of people in the comments either forgot, or don't realise that she is COUNTER-suing him, hence the replies. However, as much as I appreciate your sentiment, personally, I can't take this case seriously and your statement kind of accidentally points out why... Aside from the fact this looks like a publicity ploy for both parties, if a woman did the same to a man, or another woman, nobody would give a sh*t - I'll take these kinds of cases seriously when sexual harassment is wholly taken seriously... It's a joke! When you give me that look, it's a joke!

Men can be sexually assaulted too, and in fact there was a woman who agreed with me earlier in the thread. But at the end of the day there's no point in arguing about it, I just shared my opinion and that's not me saying it's not an awful thing to go through. But it's up to Taylor and I respect her decision.
