its mostly gotten better in terms of equality morals such as reduced racism and sexism especially in developed world. People are also more aware of feelings like depression and Nations co-operate a bit more without resorting to war rightaway (modern destructive weapons technology forces that)

 

But on an individual to individual level i think weve gotten worse. Most ppl had high morals (whether religious or something else) on honesty, helping others, respect etc. Now everyone is selfish and cares about only themselves

 

U need a favour? U need to move? Some construction work? Ppl find excuses not to help these days. People are also the laziest theyve ever been

 

In my grandpas time, a business owner would take interest in a young man with no experience and take of his time to teach him for example. Now its its every man for himself. U aint qualified u aint getting hired. This is just a small example

 

im generalazing. Past and present what i said doesnt apply to everyone. But i do not believe that as a whole weve gotten better. We did in some things... but in others we detracted

Im part of this (millenial-z) generation, but its my opinion i know theres is always bad and good persons in every generation is just that a lot of really young kids and teens are doing bad tings and follow trends just because they think is cool and in part is fault of the persons who started first (no to young people) , the facts so well maybe is the situation in my country, my country has been a poor country always with no a proper education and alot of issues, so my neighborhood and the whole country was  relatively a safe place 20-30 years ago. crime has grow up so fast since then as it does all the other issues but the ting is the kids and the teens started To behave like adults more early with the time as example years before the gangs members average age was like 22-36 yo persons and now is like 12-28 its not fault of the young people Is the pattern left by the previous generations and that is getting worse, 12 yo girls having babys is getting common and the careless for education to, 6-12 yo kids are twerking and doing a lot stuffs that i never imagine.  The people is more interested in social media and other tings instead of really issues. in my country if you demand better life conditions the goverment could murder you and no body could do someting and in 2 days everybody forgets all. Now my neighborhood is not safe place anymore gangs of teens could stab you in the bus or in the street.

2 months ago my mom was knocked in the head by a 13-14 yo boy (we knew his age because he studied in a near school) and then he took her phone and run we try to chase him but he star Shooting to the air.

I never said that before generations were better but when i was a 10 yo kid remenber , Was dragged by the stream of a river and those 16-20 yo drunks, junkies, (know as the jerks of the town) They mocked me for a moment but then they realized the situation and 2 of them jump to the watter and took me to the ground then they offers me a beer. 

And if a think the next generations will be selfish and superficial no i tink that some of them will be good persons. but the truth is that a lot of people no matter the age are a bit more superficial and insensitive now. And a others persons are more Aware and sensitive (no im no talking about the internet snowflakes). And never would said a whole generation will be worse, is just that if some person is in danger i would try to help him i would never laught of him . maybe is just me triggered by news like this.
