I haven't fully put any of my ideas to paper yet, but I have some working titles: Moonburn Pretty White Lines Broken Windows Sugar Rush Silence (Is the Scariest Noise) Drowning in Air Ice Cream Off the Hook Pop It (written in the style of Gaga) I'll add some more later when I remember them. I need an audio mixer who can re-create a part of the instrumental from a song so that the extended live version can be made. I have checked through the live footage of the song and found a video in which you can hear the instrumental somewhat clearly. The instrumental I need making is from 3:45 - 4:12 and also maybe the final chorus so that the volume on the studio chorus can be lower so you can't hear the vocals as much (like a backing track). I'm thinking that if I can find female voice samples online, they could be manipulated to sound like the breakdown after the 3rd verse ("sorry that's clearly not me, this is all I can be.."). The breakdown is when all 4 girls start harmonizing before one of them sings "Am I still not, good enough". I will also provide the studio version of the song so that you have some sort of guide to work from. Rollercoaster 2 Posted July 31, 2014 Share Posted July 31, 2014 I've just finished recording vocals for all my favourite tracks (that nobody will ever hear) to their beat, and now I'm about to start the long and painful task of creating instrumentals to those vocals that compliment them well enough to be listenable. Then they're getting stuck on a USB stick and kept in a drawer, never to see the light of day. I call the collection "Rohypnol & Speed" which is basically a way of describing the position I am in when I get that random urge to write and come out with my favourite stuff. I'm so tired that I have this weird burst of energy and could either pass out cold on the floor or work out for 4 hours straight. My body wants to go, and my mind wants to die. 1. Until Death - an echoey, almost gothic, spoken word intro about the reality of a lifelong commitment, and the guilty relief that's felt when a long term partner breaks up with you, or dies. 2. Track one - oddly, not actually the first track. It's about starting over again after what seems like an apocalypse of the heart. 3. Love him (like me) - Encouraging a lover to cheat, but only if he thinks the s-x will be as good as it is with you. 4. November - it's about the day I met my first love, well, not met him, but when we finally admitted we wanted eachother and let our walls down. It was amazing. 5. Falling into the sun - About the time I went on a first date and fell in love at first sight. It was like falling into the sun, the amazing warmth before you get burned to death. 6. Terminal Velocity - This is about the November guy. We were moving too fast, I fell too hard, and suddenly his love was eating me inside like cancer. 7. Blue Eyes - In your blue eyes, I walked away. No. It's about being thankful for past loves as they've allowed you to move on to your true love. 8. Suicide note. - A brief bit of a very poetic and emotional suicide note I wrote at the age of 17 before briefly hanging myself. 9. Recovery - The moment you break out of your funk and face the world again with a new passion. Fuq da h8rs! 10. Take me to paradise - The moment we all face in life at some point, where you just want to be used to feel useful. 11. Drag me to hell - The 'teenage rebellion' stage of life that comes from deep depression. The point at which you could happily watch everyone burn to death and not give a sh1t. 12.
