Fluorine 0 Posted July 26, 2012 Share Posted July 26, 2012 I keep trying to figure out if "Diet Mountain Dew" samples this or not: I'm talking about the synth piano bit that comes in around the 0:42 mark. Compare it to the piano in DMD at 0:10-0:16 and repeated under the chorus throughout. I'm leaning toward it not being completely the same, but they really do sound similar. One of the female performers on So You Think You Can Dance did a solo to This Is What Makes Us Girls tonight! I heard the song playing from my bedroom so I ran to my living room, but I missed the performance.
