He is (or looks like) a million dollar man, or someone who is very rich, and then she asks why her heart is broke(n), which is a play on words. Why is her heart broken aka. she is sad and someone broke her heart, you know all that love-****, and why her heart is broke/ has no money, because she is with a million dollar man. When I listen to Born To Die mixed in with some of his stuff, it just flows. His writing and production are perfect, he talks about party scenes, relationships and s-x in such a poetic way.
