zack 15
It's not like anyone would know he did that, he's pretty irrelevant. Most people don't know who he is Not sure if serious... Edited June 25, 2012 by zack

dc1993 1
Unsurprisingly, the National Anthem remixes are all shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. LOL Diet Mtn Dew, on Lana's official personal channel, has been blocked because of copyright infringment I was joking, people do know who he is, but I really wouldn't consider him as having a vast contribution to music He completely changed Goth culture in the 90s, and is ripped off constantly in Emo culture and bands like MCR these days. His albums in the 90s were very high charting - his record Antichrist Superstar debuted at no.3 in the US, that's while on the same label as Gaga is now, Interscope. Subsequent albums also debuted at no.1 and in the top 10. His music videos are constantly rated some of the best of the 90s etc. etc. etc. He's not AS relevant these days, but still a hugely prolific entertainer. Marilyn is so underrated sometimes  A lot of people just see him as a "crazy whitey fag antichrist" and don't see everything he is. It's almost the same thing as Gaga, a lot of people judge her by her outfits and not by her art. Makes me sad :( Anyway, am I the only one to think it was a fail how they hid Lana's eyes on the last NA picture, getting a really dramatic feeling, but you could see them on the reflection? :flop:

"Haters call me b---h, call me *******, call me whitey" ;) Gaga fans should look back at who was the last major artist to cause such negative backlash in other countries, while touring and releasing amazing music. Stirring it up with religous groups etc. Funnily enough, Manson has also referenced Madonna on numerous occasions - and actually spoken about it. And yeah I can see Gaga's career paralleling his alot more in the future. Becoming more of an artists purely for her fans (albeit a insanely huge fanbase) and less for the "masses". I see Lana's career taking a kind of Kate Bush / Tori Amos turn. and yeah I thought that too ;) about the reflection haha Edited June 25, 2012 by dc1993

I don't know much about Kate Bush and Tori Amos careers, could you please explain me more of how Lana's career relate to theirs? Well, take Kate Bush. She started her career with three supa-successful albums. They weren't necessarily "pop" but they were still radio-friendly. As her career went on she became more experimental, producing her own work, creating the music she was inspired to make (I see similarities here with Gaga and Born This Way too) and in the 2000's she's been releasing incredible albums (successful ones too) that gain awards and acclaim, but she herself is out of the spotlight most of the time. Im not sure where Im going with this I just see Lana as maybe being the same sort of artist. I don't know! haha

dc1993 1
National Anthem video better be out this weeeeeeek D; Tori Amos got famous for ripping off Kate Bush, let's be honest here. Well I've probably given Tori's early albums 1 or 2 listens, and I didn't like them at all. Yet I love everything that Kate has ever put out, so.. Oh, I see, and I agree. Isn't Kate Bush the singer of Wuthering Heights? I love that song, one of my fave books ♥ The crow Yep that's probably her most well known track, next to Running Up That Hill :) You should give her Hounds of Love album a listen! it has similar dramatic production to BTD.. well kind of
