Elizabeth Warren has the highest chance but I dont think she can beat Trump. The Democrats need a centre-left white man tbh

But how much fun would it be to watch Trump lose to Warren or Harris. I read an interesting piece in Vanity Fair stating that the best candidate for the Dems would be George Clooney (though I doubt he'd ever run).

Tulsi Gabbard will be the 2020 Democrat nominee and the next president

She is young, progressive, attractive, a veteran, smart, for single payer, endorsed Bernie, and is not establishment

If Tulsi doesn't run, I will support Warren. I love her books and her passion.

Still shocked people support Establishment Democrats like Kamala and Michelle Obama. Haven't learned from 2016 I see.

Any Democrat or Independent will do in 2020. I'll vote for a cardboard cutout over Trump! :giggle:

^tbqh. I'd rather the office not even be filled than have another term of scandals that lead nowhere and stupidity that leads straight into the gutter :laughga: I want to be able to at least respect the president, even if I disagree with them. That's not possible with anyone whose last name is "Trump".

OT: Hillary. She won in 2016, we picked her, and she should take her rightful place in the Oval Office :whitney:

Other than her, Elizabeth Warren or Michelle Obama (both for obvious reasons). Amy Klobuchar would be nice just because I like her :laughga: Tulsi Gabbard would probably do well too. She wasn't caught up in the DNC mess in the 2016 election...actually, she defected to Bernie and the DNC had emails leak about "taking her down" so any right-wing conspiracy nuts would have a hard time connecting her to any of these fabricated theories like pizzagate or an overhyped email "scandal" :deadbanana:

Are you for Tulsi also? A lot of people really don't talk about her except on Twitter. I really think she can win over Trump voters and I love that she is a veteran and not establishment.

I also do like Warren, I think she has a great record and writes great books and speaks well, but I thinks she would have a problem winning over Trump voters and Independents since the GOP did extremely well destroying her image and smearing her image.

I still am shocked though some people support people like Kamala, Gillibrand, Cuomo, and Booker because they are really so establishment, non progressive, and have huge donors and special interests, it is like the Dems haven't learned from 2016:giveup:

Warren, but i don't think she will run...

She's basically Bernie lite, but with a much louder mouth, but I think both independents and liberals (moderate to hard left) see her as a very patriotic, no bullshit kind of person who speaks the truth.

Next,

Kamala Harris if she plays her cards right, but im not sure if she even wants to.

Kirstin Gilibrand is... okay, shes not as clean as some of the others I hear in regards to her history with Wall Street, and she did say she was ruling out a 2020 bid.

Don't take any of the others seriously :gum:

Though if we're in the age of Celebrity Presidents, Oprah >>>> Trump.

Some people don't think a progressive can win. Which I don't think is true.

I definitely support Warren. I don't think the GOP has done enough to destroy her. Many people would learn about her for the first time when she ran. She's still unknown to people who don't follow politics. Which is a large amount of people that vote unfortunately.

I am also a fan of Tulsi. I think she's fresh, clean and different. However, and this is me being a snob, I much prefer presidents to be Ivy League or Stanford educated (like Obama, Warren, both Clitons, and Trump)

Edit: Added her to the poll, couldn't believe I forgot her when making this thread.

Kamala or Warren.

Michelle if she decides. But i'd rather someone competent with a clean image run (who can snatch them conservatives votes like obama did in 2008) and not to just make some feminist statement. U cant afford another trump term :duck:

Kamala is the cleanest slate of the two. Warren has been around for a while and has done some things (like support Clinton over Sanders) that Trump may dig into.

Also, keep in mind that the candidate won't 100% run against Trump, not only can he be challenged within his party (inb4 his daughter), he can also choose not to run (a possibly, since he apparently hates the job, though keep in mind, he does love campaigning).
