Talent 9,333
These poor women. This is truly twisted and disgusting. Please put this man in a jail. 🔵 - Banned because I quoted a stupid meme. Literally. So, yeah.

It's the same as with Katy, getting that award and then working with homophobes, and i am not saying she is one, but it's just not something you do, because else you seem like a hypocrite. I understand, and I'm not saying she is lying either. But when you decide to go public about something so delicate and important and become an activist for it, you have to own up to it. Hence why i think she has some explaining to do. It does make me really happy that she decided not to release that horrid video.

Yes, the song and how involved she has become with the topic definitely feel like her apology about it, but I would still like to understand what was going through her mind during all the moments that they worked together. She was already open about being raped because that is what swine is about and she was open about its meaning since the song was released. So even if the TIHTY didn't exist yet, she had already made a song about sexual abuse yet still decided to work with a rapist on another song on that same album. She never acknowledges the collaboration, she performed a solo version only during the tour and made it less of a spectacle than other non-single tracks on the album...add with the fact that she spent the second half of 2014 and early 2015 working on the song and putting so much passion in supporting rape victims (Kesha comes to mind) and bringing awareness to that issue. It would be an entirely different story had she released DWUW with his feature AFTER TIHTY, but she didn't. Anyways, enough derailing of the topic at hand. This is really disturbing and only adds to his repertoire of disgusting history should this be confirmed. He needs to go to jail.

Gaga is a fierce advocate of women's right, sexual assault awareness and rape issues and she made it clear (through her actions) that she made a mistake. It's a sensitive issue. That's more than enough. 🔵 - Banned because I quoted a stupid meme. Literally. So, yeah.

We are all humans, and we all make stupid mistakes, i am not holding it against her. But she should have spoken about it, she didn't even had to say their names, but this "it's clear" or "it's obvious" is just not the same as saying it out loud. Still, i find her very courageous for talking about that issue at all.
Laceface 2,964
Major record companies, television shows, and other stars continue to work with Kelly. Lady Gaga recorded the duet “Do What U Want” with Kelly in 2013, Lil Wayne, Ty Dolla Sign, and Juicy J made cameos on Kelly’s 2015 album The Buffet, and he performed on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon last December. He recently starred in a digital campaign for Alexander Wang.

Yeah I 100% agree with you regarding how she should've handled it and to be a little bit clearer on the issue than just do a year and a half campaign for a song/message. Being open about that experience would've probably strengthen her stance all the more but that's all history I guess? Part of me thinks a lot of it and how the entire scandal was handled was heavily influenced by interscope and their decisions on two artists on their rosters but yeah, I get where you're coming from. I feel like she needed to explicitly say "I'm sorry for working with this person and this person, I made a really stupid stupid stupid mistake that made me question my own integrity and I'm sorry for it." But like you say, it is really courageous of her to put her struggles in the spotlight like that and everything she has done for the issue is worthy of being proud at. But like just like the article mentioned, if this is real and the story keeps unfolding it is always going to be brought up that she decided to associate herself with this "human being" and the honesty of her actions is going to be doubted.
