Just realized that every decade has a MASSIVE Spanish song that literally everyone knows

Gaga should do one in the 20's tbh :giggle:

this was my BOP as a child, i remember being like 5, my mom told me that i used to dance the choreo at school all day and the teachers loved it, ma impact :diane:

WTF it was literally EVERYWHERE when it came out. The Number of times teachers made us perform the song at school events is alarming tbh :laughga:

The first two are very similar in that they're silly songs with unique dances, whereas Despacito is just a regular pop song. I actually expected this for the 2000s:

I guess it has to do with only reaching 54 in the US :shrug: it seems like a cute song, but yea.. I don't think it was very big here.

At least in Europe.

It was HUGE

It was played everywhere for more than a year I swear I don't think Despacito is dominating like Bailando was
