Yes and if they did, they would have to buy the Kindle copy (what fool would pay shipping from amazon.com to the UK?). And since Nielsen BookScan (the company that released this statistic) "only tracks print book sales, thus excluding ebook sales from major e-tailers such as Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook, Kobo, Apple, and Google Play"(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nielsen_BookScan#cite_note-5).
