Xtina was a mess here - her hair, her outfit, etc. It's still a mystery for me how she gained like 20 pounds in one month(this performance happened a month-month and a half after Burlesque was filmed and she looked stunning in the movie.)...... But I do have to worry if she was maybe ill here or about to come down with something. She misses really easy cues and seems at one point like she was physically incapable of getting words out at 1:22. I think this performance really cemented her as a terrible live performer. It truly is legendary in the pop community. A lot of her performances this era were a mess but boy, did she murder this song live. This has to be one of the most depressing songs I've ever heard and not in a good way and to hear her sing the final chorus from 2:49 and onwards makes you just want to put her out of her misery. One of the most maudlin ballads ever to perform live. Don't lipsynch, kids. Because, if the wrong track plays and you've never practised singing it live, you won't even be able to save it due to your super-energetic dance performance taking up all your energy.
