Yeah but if you say that the entire outcome of the past 100 years of presidency would've changed lol. The system is set up like that so that people in every state have representation. If it was just based on population then votes from about 45 states literally wouldn't mean a thing. The electoral college in place to have a sense of weight on each state. Also its more of a strategic thing for the candidates to be able to analyze the map and know where they need to campaign to win. So it not only challenges the two candidates to thing and strategize but always balances the votes to a degree. But the thing is with our current system, me voting blue in my state is worthless, due to my state having been red for the last 20+ yrs. With a popular vote system, everyone's vote will count. It's clear that we need to rework our voting system, due to a candidate being able to win just by focusing on certain states. Hillary would have just to stick to the upper states and West coast, Trump the Southern and middle states and both a battle ground in Florida. You ought to know by now the only defense Trump and his supporters have is to bring up unrelated things, shift the focus, change the subject, or lie through their teeth What Hillary did wasn't good but it also wasn't illegal.
