It's been hit hard with terrorist attacks lately and I imagine most civilians are on edge. This is a prime example of people scared of any Muslim, because radical thoughts are just that...thoughts. You can't tell on the outside so you see everyone as a threat. On his perspective, he feels profiled to the max and humiliated I'm sure.
