Y'all can't handle how hard Don't Play goes, so you let it flop? :oprah:

@Alolan Raichu

The Prologue - 8
The interludes are probably one of the greatest things for this album. I'll probably wont play them on their own accord but they are fantastic when you listen the album as a whole. The Prologue opens this Shakespearean album with the opening excerpt from Romeo and Juliet, a good way to start this romantic album especially with the Gregorian hum.

100 Letters - 8
The bollywood beat is actually a refreshing for what is currently trending. Very romantic and cute.

Eyes Closed - 6.
As much as other people on site love it, I didn't really connect to it. And while I like how The Weeknd work it still just didn't have the charm.

Heaven In Hiding - 9
The fact that Halsey shows off her personality is the highlight for this album and the drum beat is killer.

Alone -  7
I like the 70s lo-fi R&B instrumental, the rest of the song doesn't really appeal to me.

Now Or Never - 11
Ok to be honest this track deserved to be the lead single. Its laid back, nice trap beat and the ambient sound is so good. Not to mention it is very much Halsey. So yes I do prefer this over to Eyes Closed. Sue me.

Sorry - 9
I'm a sucker for when a pop star adds a stripped, piano or guitar only ballad. Especially since its a rejection song which I think it's a nice change. It's very refreshing since we didn't get one in Badlands, however this song doesn't stands out much in this album.

Good Mourning - 8
As with The Prologue it is really good for an instrumental. I like the repeating ending "The sun is coming up" very Tim Burton. Makes you feel like we are ready for Act II.

Lie - 8
The one criticism is the fact that it is kinda short. I would've like it she didn't have Quavo from Migos only because I just wanted to have more from her.

Walls Could Talk - 7
I get a bit of a 2000s vibe from this song. She incorporates a bit of french baroque sound to it as well, but apart from it I don't enjoy it as much.

Bad At Love - 6
This song does not stand out to me. I kinda consider it another trap/pop song.

Don't Play - 7
I think the verses are great and I love the pre-chorus but when it comes to the chorus its when it goes down. She is trying hard to sound intimidating

Strangers - 10
I love this song very much. The instrumental is very 80s pop and I kind of consider this the Roman Holiday of the album because how pop it is compared to the rest of the trap album

Angel On Fire - 7.5
Damn she has a emotion in this song which I give prop but I find it to be a bit filler.

Devil In Me - 8
The ambient sounds and the chorus is what I consider a mature song for plus it reminds me of a minor pop ballad i.e. Sia.

Hopeless - 8
The outro for the album which I consider a step up from Badland's I walk the line. I like the whole acceptance yet sorrowful since you know that our protagonist don't end up together. Essentially it's a song that you can imagine playing at the end credits.

You're just supposed to give them all a score of 1
