See. I'm kind of sad this is what u comment, instead of what i previously said about mexican and other cultures being diminished. I would love you to personally send a message so we could have a conversation. I don't know who u are and it's frustrating to be behind a laptop somewhere else in this world just to throw shade, when we are discussing something serious. I already even apologized and idk what for becuase i dont even know you. So please stop trying to drag ppl on threads without even talking on the real matters.

See I knew people were gonna bitch about the font, but it's like, if we're gonna be combatting cultural appropriation, there are much bigger and much more harmful cases of it than someone using a f*cking font that resembles other language scripts :rip:

I'm SO over people claiming "cultural appropriation" for everything. ALL CULTURE IS LEARNED AND SHARED. And most likely, what you are referencing as "did it first", actually is from some other culture before it...

It's not a font. It's a typeface.

Sanskrit did originate from South Asia but isn't exclusively specific to India. A lot of South East Asian people adopt sanskrit words and have strong Hindu influences.

In any case, Kesha's interpretation is vague enough that it doesn't feel culturally specific. Orientalism might be a more appropriate word in this case, as opposed to cultural appropriation.
