He or she will have to be new and clean as a whistle...and with the propaganda and Russia inteference machine running without any kind of constraints...that might not even be enough. You forget that Trump was ahead in the Republican primaries from the beginning. The people who came out to vote for the first time or the first time in decades were white folks voting for Trump. If there is an R by his name, those Republicans who disapprove of Trump, will vote for him again. His approval rating really doesn't matter when it comes to Republicans voting.
