Will Katy be different this time in American Idol than in 2010?

She was a guest judge for one day filling in for another judge back in 2010.

 

She was surprisingly harsh to some participants, she made Simon look like a saint.  Although I think her attitudes was just to go against the other girl who was judging, they were kinda feuding. 

Plus this was during the time she was putting up the typical "superstar diva" act. She's more mature and nice now so I think she'll be softer this time.

Fun fact! If Katy didn't let Niall through on X Factor we never would've had One Direction! So clearly she does have some decent insight into putting together a musical act that can sell and conquer

sure but you can also try to appreciate them for at least trying, there's no need to act like you're on a completely different level from them just because now you're famous

she was exactly where they are when she first decided to pursue singing and achieve her dreams
