Gaga is always pushing herself too hard. Gaga does tend to do that. But she learned a lot from the ARTPOP era. The promo she does now are stuff that SHE WANTS to do. Katy is just all over the place. Gaga is bit more laid back this era. When there's passion in the stuff you do, it'll not feel like work. And Gaga has a LOT of that. But I feel like that's not the case with Katy. According to her without that break this era would've been so bad (or worse might be a better word) Its why the album was delayed from late 2016 to last month. I worry because she just finished filming ASIB and will go right into the Dive Bar Tour and the Joanne tour. Every performance requires so much preparation and rehearsing because she is such a perfectionist. Yes, she wants to do these things and loves doing them, but they are still a lot of work. She's fragile, and I wonder if she keeps so busy to try to keep her mind off all the calamities she has gone through the past few years ... her hip, her manager leaving, and all the hate.
