Lanius 1,055
I've said this time and time again But the Joanna era was like Madonnas Bed Times Story era. The point of the era was not to be a hit, But more like damage control for the GP who were tired of the gimmicks and out landish stunts. These past few years Gaga has been rebranding her image and reminding the GP "HEY I have talent" ( The Super Bowl, Oscars, Coachella etc etc). Joanne was ment to get the GP back on her side and It kinda worked. Not everybody can sell over 500k now a days. I will say that it did kinda Alienate her gay fan base. She had a number #4 peaking song that sold a million digital sales and her album scanned over 500k. That's an incredibly rare feat now adays. No Joanne wasn't a monster success but I don't think it was ment to be. It's a transitional era. Her Ray of light is coming.
