That would be stupid It's pride in the community that we're a part of and the struggles that we've overcome. Pride is a celebration of our victories, both future and past. It's also for our allies even though they may not be queer themselves. Call me when there are countries where more it's safe you change your gender than be straight. Call me when hate crimes against straights become an epidemic. Call me when straights become the minority and hetereophobia becomes a fraction as prevalent as homophobia. Call me your looked at as less of a person and receive less rights because your straight. Call me when corporations market on your sexuality and culture to seem cool and make a quick buck. Call me when gay and fag/******* aren't still used as insults. Call when there arecountries that forcibly try to turn you straight. Call me when straights had to battle a disease epidemic while facing strutinty from their own government and society. Call me straights have to come out the closet. Call me when everyday isn't already heterosexual pride day and you need a specialized month because society and media don't recognize and celebrate/favor your sexuality and culture. Honestly, regardless of small this trend seems, everyone in the LGBT community should care and say something. "Oh they're just ignorant homophobes" is not an excuse.
